haha too right Otto.
They just returned message and said the factory said that s how much it weigh s and they reduced it by 30 percent so 45 to 50 kilograms it is.
The base must be a significant portion of that.
So I suppose it will ship in at least two separate boxes.
Yep ,one for the base and one for the statue.
Hulk preorder is on wailist

Well spotted Zbong.
LOL Cinemaquette Bit slow at the gate.
Well, we just unpacked the production sample and it's heavy, but not as heavy as we thought. The boxes are huge though. Overall still very manageable. And he looks great too. Our factory did an amazing job with him!
That sounds very good Otto
a question ... how does look the translucent resin in person?
Maybe we can have a picture?
An image of the packaging would also be cool
Thanks for the update O.
I wonder if its less than expected of 45-50kg or 30kg?
I hope at least 30kg

Elite Creature CollectiblesWill have to wait for pics as that is not final and there are a few small adjustments we still have to make to make sure he's perfect before we roll him out!
new Infos about the packaging...
Elite Creature Collectibles
We are still working on the packaging. Out first pass of 2 boxes proved to be impractical and cost prohibitive for our customers. We are designing a 3 box system now that will make delivery via UPS manageable. As for photos, we do not have production photos that are approved for posting yet. Hopefully we will have that soon.
Era, so the solution to a cost prohibitive two-box solution is, wait for it... add another box?
2 boxes version was...
1st one is for the base: 98*78*25 cm.
2nd one is for the torso and legs: 110*70*38.5 cm
I think they are now split torso and legs... thereby this creates two smaller boxes... instead, a second large box
I personally would prefer 3 smaller boxes than two large boxes.
I can see how it may be cost efficient , as the cost for a bigger box can be very expensive as the carriers sometimes go by the size of box then by weight . When I packed a bust in a big box for protection it was costing about 400 bucks to ship over seas , once I was able to pack it in a smaller box almost as the size of the bust the cost was 78.00 bucks
Yeah carriers will either use the volumetric weight or the actual weight whichever is greater.
