My 3 favourites are : Orgrim Doomhammer ,Magni and Darkscar. (purely from a fantasy POV,forgot all about the movie, will have to watch it again)

Lars,Orgrim is due to arrive at Sideshow in the coming weeks and end of march at our LCS.

No word yet about Lothar. He's coming though.

Well to be fair though, there's little in the way of lending more swag than having two full-sized dragon spines dangling down your shoulders.

You should try walking the streets of Ypres that way. Just saying, just saying... :naughty:

    You do that. :yes::top:

    LOL!

That Blackhand is really impressive aswell...loving the menacing pose in frontview on this one...not so thrilled about it in profile view...:hmm:
If you see this coming at you,you turn around and run as fast as you can,lol
Also like how they did the hair on Blackhand. The hair on Bladefist & Hellscream is not appealing to me but the hair on Blackhand,Magni &Darkscar looks awesome.

Agreed. Some of these seem to suffer from the same issue the original Weta Cavetroll did. From a certain angle, they just look like big ol' elephants.

Another thing about Hellscream is that the base is pretty much non-existent which is just bad when you're asking 1.5k.

To be fair to them, at least on Hellscream it looked silly even in the movie.

Yes. Looks ok when displayed with the helmet though which most ppl probably will do.

The entire Damtoys line looks spectacular, but while I liked the movie, it didn't really do anything for me. Never played the games, so maybe that's why.

On the other hand, I absolutely love Blizzard's game cinematics
I lost count how many times I've watched this one on YouTube over the last couple of months:

I had the same feeling when the Wrath of the Lich King cinematic hit the net several years ago:

From the state-of-the-art CGI, to the high-quality voice acting, to the epic music that tugs at your heart strings, the level of these cinematics is just over the top and can easily be compared with the emotional impact of the better Disney or Pixar movies. I'm hoping one day we'll get to see a feature-length movie in the same style.

Lars, if I remember correctly, Prime 1 has the Blizzard license, so if you're more into statues from the games, you'll likely get your fix with them :)

Anovos will be releasing studio-scale starships from Star Trek: Discovery.

Prices are in the QMx-range, however: $ 9,000 and $ 8,000 respectively. And like QMx, they didn't have enough money to hide the wires

Yeah that's totally why. The movies banked heavily on knowledge of the Warcraft universe, though not so much WoW actually. In fact I can imagine it not making much sense without that. Maybe that's why it tanked @ the box office? After all, paying your monthly subscription fee to Blizzard > buying cinema tickets. ;)
But, hey, putting months/years of your private life into a game and it's lore kind of tends to create that special bond for you. I don't wanna say "waste" since it actually was a ton of fun while it lasted, lol.

Hmm, now that you mention it, I actually have a hard time picturing statues based on in-game graphics since the resolution and quality was/is so low to allow for low ping and high FPS for most everybody. Hence my interest in the Blizzard Wolf Rider as a stylized homage. Did Prime 1 announce anything based on that license?

Lars, could this be something you fancy?I remember you having artwork from Manson and if I'm not misstaken it's a painting of a fallen angel, right?
This Baron Faraii bust with his broken (translucide?) wings looks really cool and one could argue that Barlowe's artwork is leaning to the Court of the Dead property (or vice versa)...although much darker in appearance, figuratively and literally.

Pretty cool, thanks for posting Phil.

Zenpunk Collectibles... is this a new company? Distributing through... Sideshow?

Design-wise, Terminator Salvation came to mind. One thing that turns me off are these plasticy-looking cast flames. I see them, I run. I noticed ECC has them on their Gizmo, too.

Will be interesting to see what else they have in store though. Having some kind of background lore is always a good thing, especially when it is Dante'esque.

Yep,a relatively new company and Sideshow is indeed distributing their products.
I have an item in pre-order from them:

Smilodon populator was among the largest known felids, with a body mass of 400 kg (880 lb), and one estimate suggesting up to 470 kg (1,040 lb).It stood at a shoulder height of 120 cm (47 in) and had a body length excluding the tail of 220 cm. The largest body size can reach 2.7 meters, and even some broken fossils show that the largest " Smilodon populator " individual shoulder height may reach 1.65 meters.and they were built more thickly muscled than any species of cat. It could be said, and has, that the Smilodon was built more like bears than the cats of today, it can be rated the king of kings in the predators.。

Indeed, smilodon uses his sabre teeth to pick up lettuce leaves and scratch nasty itches, lol

    Or...

"Its 30 cm skull had 2 huge saber-like canine teeth, oval in cross-section, and up to 18 cm long. In addition, They have a strong lower jaw that can gape could have reached almost 120 degrees, while that of the modern lion reaches 65 degrees. This made the gape wide enough to allow Smilodon to grasp large prey despite the long canines. Smilodon also had very strong jaw and neck muscles that let it stab prey with its deadly maxillary canine sabre teeth. Its front incisor teeth may also have been used to wrip away strips of flesh from the bones of its prey."
