Between ^ and this...which one looks better to you guys?

This one as it has more details in the shadow. Suggestion, shine a low level backlight against the back wall, or try shine it towards the back of the Endo for more definition in the outline.

Thanks for the suggestion, good idea. I'm having fun learning. And thank you guys for your opinions. The T-800 is so freaking photogenic it's ridiculous.

Where did you buy it from? Did it not come with a base before?

I bought it from another collector thru George. He was willing to help me..yea the original base somehow didnt fit in for the pegs. And plus the jaw piston was missing. So i called toynami and they fixed the whole issue for me. Found an extra base..brand new and comes with the certificate and all and plusbthey fixed the jaw piston. Now my t800 is perfect..

    This is intriguing.
If they can fix issues of that magnitude (a missing jaw piston??) and also dig up another base, could they potentially fix other issues as well?
There were a lot of electrical issues with the T-X for example and many of us dread the day when the electronics for pieces like the T-800 or Vader give out.
Maybe I should try giving Cinemaquette a call to inquire about electrical repairs of their pieces?

Dennis, I have tried to do that on the T-X I now owned, and then again on the second one I bought which you now own. At that time though lights were working, just not properly, so it was a discussion of the base replacement. They did not have any left, and, in fact, did a recall on some of the bases with certain edition numbers (as the story was told to me from CM).
However, this is not to say this may not have changed between then and now. Maybe they found a few hiding in the warehouse, or have hired people with repair capablity that we can pay CM for.
If you decide to call, I would appreciate letting me know for my TX as well.

No prob Greg. Time willing I'll try Monday. As anyone who has called can attest, it's a crap shoot who you're going to get if anyone at all. :)
    Will report anything interesting . . .

I don't think a TX ail hit 5 Gs anytime soon unless there is something specific about it, like the #3 which Stan Winston owned.

    Hi
Over the last few days I have been reading the collection thread posts and marvelling at everyone's collections. It seems a few members have left, and may be have stopped collecting (whatever happened to Amin Ko and CupidStunt) and been replaced by new Cinemaquette fans.
I have the T-800 and unfortunately the hook that goes into the shoulder snapped, although the Shoulder hole has nothing in it, however I was wondering if anyone can advise on the best way to replace/repair the top part of the cable which connects to the shoulder.
    Any advice is appreciated.
    Thanks in advance
    Brian
