Lars, can you provide a link to Asakas blog - I can never find it when I want it. Any ideas if he has the Predator yet?

Send you the link. No, no Predator yet. The Philippines seems to be the place to be with this one.

Thanks for the link Lars. I see he does have his Indy up in the cabinet in one of the latest shots posted. I also see that CM have not replaced his fedora. I sort of like te way he has the sleeve pulled back on the whip arm as well.
Thoe cabinets must be incredibly deep to take the bases of the Alien and SS Pred. Will be interesting to see if he can fit the Predator in there.
Do you communicate much with Asaka Lars?

Doesn't he speak English as well? I am sure he has posted from time to time on SF.

Hmmm, dunno what's going on there...
In related news - play.com have the Jack and Aragorn in stock now (they are no longer carrying the Indy and Alien as orderable items). Looks like they have reduced the price of both to match FPI - £899 for Aragorn and £999 for Jack. These came in some time this week because they were still awaiting delivery when I checked last week.
Still showing the Predator as arrival 16/01/09

In a hypothetical scenario where this would be my next CM: Where there issues with this piece worth mentioning? Is there an estimate of the total run?

Ok Lars, this is a rather spooky coincidence.
I just received a message from a guy on youtube asking if I could post a video of my T800 and T-X.
"Hi, I liked your video on the Cinemaquettes, especially predator. I would love to see a video of the TX and T 800. I am having such a hard time finding T-800. I live in the USA, and today placed an order with Cinemaquette, there is a 5 month wait. Is that 5 month wait normal? Anyways, just wanted to ask if you could make a T-800 video, and what kind of displays are those, where can I find one if/ or when my T-800 arrives. "

Thanks for the very detailed answer Steve.
I might consider the route you proposed.

This being said, I also have an offer from an unauthorized dealer in the EU for about the same price FPI asked when they last had them available.
It would be Paypal payment, pretty safe haven altogether.
I'm trying to determine the Edition Number and beat down the price a little.

Might also consider a direct order with CM, five month seems like a good target. I just want to secure one, don't necessarily need it right now.
You just can't beat the Alien/Predator/T-800 trio andm ore and more people start realising that.

Just look at that T850 that guy has been trying to sell for about two weeks. He will keep re-listing and re-listing until someone takes it off his hands for £500.

lol...I actually did a "best offer" on it of £600,shipment included. The guy seemed not to happy with it,lol.I pointed out that FPI are offering the T-850 for £750 brand new ,
although not in stock atm.I said I rather prefer a new one for the price he was asking!
    (£745) :D

I think that your offer price Pwas fair Phil. I think he has to be realistic about the price he can exxpect to get for it.
Everytime he re-lists and eeks the price down a little more, he is incuring fees. I think this is the thrid re-list? not sure, maybe the second, each time for ten days - chances are if someone wanted ot pay a high asking price, they would have done so by now.
He just has to be realistic, and if he is sincere about paying off his credit card (as the listing says) he just has to take the hit.

There may be another factor why the guy isn't selling. One of his pictures doesn't flatter the maquette at all, another is blurry. So,people could assume, based on these pics, that this is one bad specimen!
If you want to sell something, make sure the pics are appealing! :D

Yeah, I n oticed those pics as well! The blurry one is terrible. And why even mention there are 'good' and 'bad' ones - just puts doubts in a buyers mind.
