No doubt encouraged by the three "best offers" he has received thus far, the seller has increased the price from £1250 to £1499...
Wow, 1250 Pounds was a good price. Unfortunately the seller doesn't seem to be the most reliable person on the Bay.
Only judging by his feedback and that I never received an answer when I contacted him for one of his earlier auctions. I like my sellers communicative. Well he answered my request for this item.

If anyone outside the UK wants this I am happy to work as a middle-man, take delivery and ship it on. I'll inspect it as well if need be.

A person at LA has contacted the seller prior to the price reduction where he offered him 1.4k Pounds as his lower threshold. Only hours after that he cuts it by another 300? Maybe the seller is of the impatient/desperate type but still... Normally I am happy to speculate whatever the weather, but this doesn't stack up. I can't think of any reason why you would reduce the price of a piece significantly, having just been offered close to your asking price.
