WOW Phil that looks awesome !!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks.I hope his second version of the T-800 BD Arnold bust will have a striking likeness aswell...if he ever finds time to do a second version that is.
Congrats on finally getting the bust Phil. It looks fantastic!
It took JP 3 years but it was worth the wait!
This looks friggin sweet Phil. Congrats. How did I miss this. Is he still making these?
Yes,there is no pre-set ES on this one.
Awesome. I sent him a message on FB but he probably won’t ever see it. Do you think the turnaround time on these is quicker now he’s finished the sculpting and details?
I will look up his e-mail address. It will be quicker that way.
The turnaround time will still be very long I'm afraid...there's a guy here in Belgium who ordered a specimen recently and he was told by Reuchet that he will start working on his bust sometime in 2018.
I know he has a production list for at least 12 other Robocop busts.
Price would be around 2000 EUR from what I've heard.
Reuchet's e-mail address...
Thanks Phil. As much as I'd love to own this, I'm too impatient when it comes to custom pieces taking a while. With a child on the way, i should probably give it a miss. Still interested to see what Chronicle comes up with, but looks like it will be a bigger version of the 1:2 scale but with an angry expression.
No problem Paul.I understand,it can get very frustrating sometimes with these custom pieces...I've actually been there myself with Reuchet's Robocop bust, lol.Payment for the bust was done last year in juin/july with the understanding that I would receive it one or two months later.Ultimately I got it in 8 months later!
I'm looking forward to see Chronicle's 1/1 bust. With the half scale in mind I think this life size bust will look spectacular.
I'm reworking my breakout T-rex atm...
Great job buddy looks awesome now , wish a had the skill and balls to do this sort of stuff.
Thanks Otto.Much appreciated.
I'm an amateur myself with limited skills so it means a lot to me.
I'm always looking for the simple solution like I did with the charcoal on my Sauron. lol
For the T-rex I used paints, colour markers & cotton swabs (for blending).
Great job, Phil! Do you have any direct comparison pics? I'm rather unfamiliar with that piece.
Also my belated compliments on that Robo bust. Stunning, simply stunning...
Thanks for the kind words my friend.Much appreciated.
Lars,do you mean comparsion pics with the prototype?
The CC prototype was nicely painted but also a very subjective translation from the beast of the movie.
There are many different pro painted versions ,even when everybody is following the main characteristics/paintschemes/paintpatterns of the JP female T-rex.
Let me see if I can track some of these repaints & proto pictures...
prototype CC breakout
Raf's repaint.Raf wanted to have the wet look as seen in the movie.
My production piece with the ridiculously subpar 'dot' paintjob on the head, the little forearms and tibia...paintjob on the body & tail was 'acceptable'.
I don't know what happened at Toynami but something went horribly wrong.
