Thanks guys! I've found that my collecting habits go through phases, varying in intensity. Right now I'm in full swing. I am heavily into Star Wars and would like to acquire more pieces, but Chronicle Collectibles is releasing some great Terminator stuff that I might have to pick up, including a 1:1 endo.

Just found out Casey Love will be at Maskfest this year in Indianapolis. I don't think any of you guys live close enough to go, but I had to share. I really look forward to meeting him, might be able to buy something from him too.

And here's my current Pax setups. They're pretty scatterbrained right now with extra shelves here and there, and all the masks which I will probably have to cut down on for shelf space with stuff coming in the near future. Anyways, just wanted to do an update. Thanks for looking. :)

Thanks bioman! The door frames are from Ikea. I just left off the support cross beams, then added acrylic sheets that I had cut locally.

Yep. If I'm not mistaken these are actually wardrobe closets, but they make for a nice display cabinet once converted

Its ikea Pax 100 large x 60 depth
Its excellent for cinemaquette but no glass door

The wood color is very classy
Better than black too dark or white

Thanks Phil! I can't say enough about the Ikea Pax. They are excellent cost effective displays. I put a lot of work into these with the lighting, custom doors, custom shelves. I've actually designed a way to use any size shelf with the existing peg holes to add an extra level for display behind larger pieces. The versatility is awesome!

LOL Thanks Otto! I picked up the cheap Killer Klowns masks for half off and planned on selling them, but they look good with my Pennywise stuff and add a great splash of color to the display.

    You're correct, and thanks.

I thought so too. When I finally decided on this color I found out it was discontinued and they were selling them for 50% off. So I bought 8 of them. 4 are built as you see, and 4 are in storage. If/when I move I won't have to worry about the integrity of the cabinets after dissassembly and reassembly. Ikea furniture is not very durable in that way. Here's a link to the door frames I used, then had acrylic sheets cut to fit them. http://www.ikea.com/us/en/catalog/products/80250274/#/60250270
