It's a sad story, really, ... if Chronicle only went a head and produced the helmet in China as initially intended...price would have been the same as Anubis and I would have certainly bought Horus at my LCS...everyone happy.

Finally some decent half scale busts from Chronicle I would say...their other ones (Terminator-Robocop) weren't looking all that hot imho.

People complaining about the price but maybe they might get a quality paint job:shrug:.

I'd emphasise 'might' in your sentence Otto! LOL
It's not a given with Chronicle...T-rex breakout was also in the same price range...but it's clear the paintjob on these SG helmets is not the same as on a dinosaur with intricate patterns.

I just keep thinking of what Steve Wang said in one of his videos ,Bust are much easier and cheaper to produce than a maquette lol.

Guys, you know how much they are asking for these 1/2 SG helmets here in Europe?

A wopping 1200 euros!!!! (for 1 helmet)This is crazy when the price in the US = 750 dollars (670 euros)
Pure theft if you ask me....I paid 1800,- euros for my Anubis life size from Chronicle.

Correction. It's just one shop asking those crazy prices for the 1/2 SG helmets.
950,euros per helmet in other EU shops.

Change of policy at Chronicle Collectibles...

"Moving forward we will no longer be carrying stock. We will only produce what is pre-ordered and announce the ES at some point. If that's 235, then it's 235. The ES for this piece (Thulsa Doom) is 500, but it will change after 60-90 days of pre-sale."

Phil, keep in mind that this piece is not based on the baby Raptor from the movie, but on the concept sketch by Mark 'Crash' McCreery. So it's probably supposed to look like that. It's a 3D rendering of that particular drawing.

Also on the subject of Chronicle: they've announced a couple of new licenses - John Wick, King Kong, the upcoming Godzilla 2 and Godzilla vs. Kong.

True but it's too simple for my likings.
The 3 Raptor sculpts are looking nicely detailed with a good sense of realism and they are giving these a fairly simple, almost 'cartoonish'/'toyish' paintjob imho... lacking nuances, etc.
