This piece will be spectacular once it's completed.Very good decision regarding the base Lars,it looks awesome.
Thanks Phil. I've been in New Zealand the entirety of February! Visited Weta cave too of course. Their Moose kit is something else. They have the full painted build-up there. Very tempting, but as it stands I already have three unbuild kits on backburner. Also first time for me to see their Masters Collection, and all three pieces to boot: Will post more when time allows...
One month in the surroundings of Middle-Earth!Must have been a dream come true for you Lars! No words to describe how beautifull New Zealand is...
Yes Phil. If you can allow yourself to be carried away by these moments and places without being diverted by the inevitable mainstream tourism that surrounds them, it gives this holiday an entirely separate angle from all the usual things you'd typically see and do on a roadtrip. Hobbiton in particular really stands out from all the rest which can be a little off-the-wall. After a (night) tour around that movie set accompanied by an ale-laden feast in the Green Dragon, the hobbit hole environments suddenly appear extremely desirable. Good for you if you manage to resist and come home just in time for Weta's flash sale.
Lars, are you already the proud owner of the PCS 1/3 Michael Myers statue? Or is it still on your 'want' list?
I was about to order the Exclusive along with the Mohawk from Herocity but when that fell through and I shifted the Mohawk to Bunker158, they didn't have the Ex available. Also back then I was planning to acquire Freddy & Jason from ECC which then never happened. Did you?
I would very much like to have the PCS 1/3 Myers in my collection but I need to stay focused on other collecting priorities...PCS did a magnificent upgrade on that '78 mask and it looks nearly perfect now. It's hard to pass on such a great representation of Myers, especially in 1/3 scale. Temptation is still strong with this one...
I know, right? I just typed in "Infinity Studio" and, omg, Athena, the Encounter, Pilgrimage... This Corona shiiit is starting to cost me real-life moneyz!
Michel did it! https://streamable.com/5fox63 https://streamable.com/o9t3ok https://streamable.com/pxwz7k (base LED's can be switched to a permanent color rather than the rotation shown in the vid)
What an impressive, beautifull executed piece.Looks fantastic Lars! He took his time but it seems it was well worth the wait! Congrats on another grail piece my friend!
Five years later, he finished. LOL. BUUUTTT... he still beat me to my Collection room! What's the upshot here?
