You have a beautiful ability of putting my thoughts into words. :top:

That would make Freddy a good alternative I suppose. :)

Not really Lars.Never was a huge fan of these particular movies with characters such as Jason or Freddy.
Could seem completely contradictory but I LOVE Halloween which is actually also about a mindless killer though, lol.
The atmosphere, how it was filmed, the setting, the best horror 'trance-inducing' tune ever ,the music in general.
    Masterpiece.

I imagine a bed on which Regan's limbs are tied up to the four corners of the bed...she's floating in mid-air ,her head tilted and looking straight at you with an evil grin...the power of my wallet compells me to buy this,I'm in! :waah:

That's valuable piece of advice. Some collectors may pay big bucks if you could teach them, lol. :top:

First I thought they used an entirely different sculpt but if you see them next to each other, it might really just be the placement of the acrylic eyes in the head and maybe a bit of a pj transition. What do you guys think?

It is but the new price tags give me headaches. It's not necessarily that they're unreasonable when compared to other releases, it's more the new price structure of collectibles in general when compared to other real-world goods and services.

I hear you...I should have stopped the hobby a long time ago and bought me a skateboard or something, lol (luckily my wife still thinks that a Premium Format costs 250 EUR :> lol)

That said I'm looking at Prime 1 and these guys are producing some high quality stuff in 1/3 scale for very reasonable prices.

Not considering their ES's which are often like 500 excl's and 1000 reg's. I feel you get your money's worth.Elaborate detailed bases, prototype quality,1/3 scale, use of translucent resin, use of real hair ,etc.

I'm looking at their Kong statue (80cm tall;67cm wide;46cm deep) and I can get the regular version for 1050 EUR.

I'm looking at their half scale Terminator Endoskeleton (105cm;70cm;60cm) and is priced 2100 EUR at my LCS.(I expect their 1/3 version to be priced at 1700-1800 EUR)

I'm looking at their life size ID4 Alien bust (ES=350) with a complete torso and arms, produced completely in translucent resin/poly with an incredible paintjob (as usual) and is priced 850EUR.

Most of their Batman 1/3 stuff sells for just over 1000 EUR.

I have pre-ordered their 1/3 Alien Dog for 1800 EUR.I know for a fact if ECC would release this Dog it would cost 3000EUR,at least.

When you put Prime 1 next to ECC (1/3 releases = 2600 EUR+) and you care only about a quality release and not the ES I feel you have much more bang for your buck.

Well at least you're buying and selling, which means you're basically trading up and refinancing things. But for me, there's nothing I'd want to sell at this point which makes the new price heights even harder to swallow.

I'm in the same boat as you Lars.
I've also come to a point there's nothing left to sell to finance future purchases.

Another issue is with cabinets. I can't possibly buy cabs for each new piece at these prices, nor would I have the space even if/when I finish my room. So I'm leaning towards boxing pieces up and rotating the display from time to time.

Meanwhile, they keep churning out these incredible 2k+ releases...
