I agree with your opinions to a certain extent azurepred.I tumbled into collecting CM for a time because of the high quality but ultimately I couldn't stay charmed by these maquettes for the simple reason I wanted an accurate depiction of the movie character.I was blown away by the delivered quality but there was an important element missing.CM promised a depiction of the character as if it would walk right out of the silver screen but sadly enough this didn't happen and I sold off my maquettes. Now,if you are collecting and you don't care about movie likeness/accuracy Cinemaquettes are the way to go cause these are truly sublime. That's why I'm so thrilled with Chronicle and ECC...they are combining cinemaquette quality with accuracy and this is the first time I am witnessing products on this level of execution.Chronicle has stolen my heart and are delivering movie accurate products with real cinematographic history behind them. And learning about the friendship between Paul and George couldn't make happier!

Okay guys so I have three pictures of the completed Iron Man shot by George yesterday evening before he finished setting up the booth at NYTF.

Now RDJ's camp have final approval on his likeness and prior to yesterday hadn't got back to George to approve the silicone face. So for now George can only display it with the mask down. If the RDJ camp get back to George over the course of the show then he will shoot us another pic of the silicone face.

So for now enjoy these three images of this epic piece. You even get one with the lights out!

IMPORTANT: please credit CBD if you post these elsewhere.

Im a bit disapointed by the pose...hes not center...have to see it in person...

The base is huge...same as predator? Plaque seems bigger than classic base...?

That's what happens when you're about to unleash your Repulsors at Ultron Prime.

The base will probably be about the size of the Alien: the plaque about the same size as Indy's.

Please don't quote me on either as I'd need to confirm.

Looking at the different angles I'm a bit uninspired aswell but will probably look better in person though.
I can't help of thinking about Sideshow when I see this pose. It's one that fits right into their stable.
Nothing beats a subtle museum pose for such big quality pieces, especially if you want it to be the definitive representation of a character.Just my humble opinion.

Yes if its not a museum pose , i would love an action pose more straight more standing...more center to the base...

    Love the paintjob

The plaque is a bit too big....

Cant wait to see silicon head

I agree that we all have seen this pose in other statues or similar action pose , and I do agree that if it were a museum pose it would have been amazing as vader too. But being 1/3 scale I feel already in person this will beat all IM out there , but imagining him with the faceplate up showing his face this pose will be very unique and impressive , depending what the face looks like , I'm very hopeful . And zhong , if you stand in a perfect circle and do this pose , there is no way your upper body would be centered , so this makes sence .

CM could do same pose but with straight leg standing and it would be perfect

WO!! What's up with the pose? We have another Darth Vader missed oportunity here, leave these awkward actiony poses to Sideshow. This is a no go for me, no matter how good the silicone looks, conservative museum poses always.

The signature on the COA hasn't been confirmed yet Omer, nor has edition size.

Pre orders will be up early March and information on COA and ES should be confirmed then if not sooner.
