Bas emailed me about this piece because it has no COA. I therefore contacted George to see if he could legitimise it. Number 25 did indeed go to a Japanese distributor but it is unclear whether it has been sold on as the piece defintely should have a COA and without it George cannot confirm that it is legitimate. He had Shannon sign all of the AP certificates - which differ from the regular BL certificate - and hand carried them back to his office and personally packed each one. He has contacted his Japanese distributor to try and find out what happened to the COA but so far no reply. Regardless he does have a very small number - around 5 I think - of BL APs left in Cali which he is now thinking of offering exclusively here. More details to follow next week.

Congrats Zhong. I now know that there are in fact only 23 official versions of this AP. Two were factory samples that were rejected. They stayed in China and do not have COAs. The COAs never left the USA. The two rejects were lost during a factory move.

For me yes because beyond display value it's the simplest and most effective way to confirm its provenance. Zhong as for getting hold of a COA for this now I'm afraid you are out of luck. George already told me he cannot go back and ask Shannon to sign a one-off unfortunately.
Congrats Zhong! See if you can see what happened to the COA from the original buyer. If he says it did not come with one, which would not be true, it may be in the box still. I am assuming the original CM boxing, etc is still available?
