Sorry to read that Arif. The saner is such a fragile part and it does sound like you've been unlucky. Did the seller provide any proof the saber was working prior to sale? If so I'd try a claim on the shipping insurance with a view to trying to buy another. I'd be very surprised if CM has spares at this stage though or can even offer a repair.
Yeah the seller did mentioned about the saber but i totally fergot about it.. But its ok.. Although its a huge part of the light feature, i guess i wont be turning it on that often so its kinda ok.. Bummer but oh well.. I will try to email them about it just trying my luck..
Sorry to hear about that Arif. I had the same problem with my first Vader when CM was still shipping these. They sent a replacement. George said that mine was actually a problem with the wiring in the body, not the saber itself...which to me would mean it could possibly have be repaired if replacements weren't available at the time. Honestly the fear of this happening with my replacement Vader is the reason I recently sold mine. I'd call CM if I were you, hopefully they can help.

Lot of light up problem... My first one, when i received it, first thing i check was light up I just check saber voice and switch off 2 weeks later i switch on to take pics i notice the light turn off then turn on....i switch off immediatly i thougt it was nothing... 1 month later i switch on for 2min and notice that belt turn off, turn on, low light high light no light, hight light... I wrote to CM who offer me a replacement of all the statue Send it to distributor receive it 6 months later (distributor forgot me ) but distributor take all shipping cost My second one was the last batch... I never switch on, i just check it when i received it Im too afraid it dont light up again...
I have always asked myself what will happen when the saber goes out on mine eventually . Or even the sound and lights , well I guess it will just be a normal cm like the others a very cool impressive statue . But havnt had the time but would like to paint the saber with a transparent red paint so it looks red when not lit but yet still will light up when needed
Sorry to hear about the Saber. mine doesn't always light up when I switch it on. Not only that but when it switches off, it does it much later than the sound effect. Kind of annoying for the price we pay.
It was like that when you bought it? Or it came later? Mine i just check once for 2minutes when i unpack it Never switch on again, you make me afraid...
So far I have been lucky , since I have had vader , I have turned it to I would say about 10 times when people visit so far so good
Congrats , but man I am sorry to hear about the saber. I had an issue when I first received mine. It never fired up. But I know they are fragile and I'm afraid back then that when I was putting it in his arm I may have snapped it. But the second one I recoeved worked perfectly. Even till the day I sold it everything worked perfectly
I finally had the chance to display Vader and I noticed his ears were ready to come off. Anyone know how to glue them back?
