True they were there in full force last year and year before I did not see 1 pic from them, oh well no money for plane fair from florida. I guess all their money is tied up in there overloaded stock room full of $9,000 star trek ships...

Vernel you got me fired up on them again so I shot them an email again to see if there still building and alive lets see if they respond!
"I'm a previous customer of yours and had contacted you guys around a year ago inquiring if you had plans to make a BSG Viper MKVII and at that time you had said no. I was just wondering if this is still true and you guys still have not even thought on making this ship?

If not I think you are doing a disservice to us BSG customers by having built the 3 previous new series BSG ships for us and having left out the MKVII especially seeing that you also have pretty much covered the whole star trek fleet and have sold out all versions of your MKII, Blackbirds and Cylon raiders...

Thank you from a QMX fan"

    Wow that was quick
    Hi Chris,

Thanks for reaching out to us! At this time, Quantum Mechanix still does
not have any plans to produce a Battlestar Galactica Viper Mark VII Artisan
Replica. I'll be sure to forward this feedback to our Artisan and product
development teams. If we receive enough interest from our customers, I'm
sure that they would consider producing this item (and as a BSG fan myself,
I'll cross my fingers!). If you have any further questions or concerns, now
or in the future, please don't hesitate to contact me!

    Best regards,

I guess I will not see a studio scale MKVII in my lifetime  and my collection will go unfinished, at least I can still look forward to the custom 1/2500 BSG battlestar I commisioned going on almost a year now  still in 100 pieces.

Nice Battlestar kit, Chris. My TOS 1/2 scale kit is collecting dust on the attic as well.

Here's hoping we'll see both finished at some point.

Millennium Falcon Cutaway Model. At QMx rates, I don't dare speculate how costly this will be :freezing:

The QMx Falcon will not be part of the Artisan line, so will be more reasonably priced. Reported to be 18" long.

It's part of their "Cutaway" line and not an Artisan model, Chris, so normally no 4-digit price tag. On the downside, no light effects and also much less detail.

To give you an idea, their Cutaway Serenity was 12" long and was priced at $350.

A closer look at the Cutaway Millennium Falcon, and 2 other new ships: one from the new Star Trek movie, and the Milano from Guardians of the Galaxy:

At that kind of price this might actually be obtainable. I think I'd prefer lights on the Falcon though.

Does anyone know when the Milano ship replica from QMx will be going up for sale?
