Thanks for the pictures Otto.Looks great.

I have to be honest...I'm a little disappointed with the application of the war paint...not natural at all,it's look like they've used a marker to paint the black...it should look like it's fading out at the edges and you should also see the flesh colour coming true here and there...Sideshow's PF was much better.
    Am I too anal?

LOL as collectors you can be anal as you want .
I think if the lines were all natural looking you would get complaints about shoddy painting I think.

My perception is different.I would be all in for real hair if it would look natural on a scaled poly/resin statue but in most cases it doesn't.
They just need to do a better job sculpting it.The sculpted hair on Conan is the weakest I've seen in a long time.

Yes a lot of people dislike the real hair, im devastated that prime is doing Ash from EvilDead and it will have sculpted hair lol hopefully its mixed media I might bite.

I really do like the use of real hair if it's done well.I think the CM Godfather is a good example of succesfully integrating real hair on a scaled statue.I was very impressed with this one.

Looks dope despite the innacurate warpaint...I may add some flesh colour tones here and there to break the uniformity of the black & white surfaces...we'll see how it looks in person.

In this vid you can clearly see the shading.Pose looks good aswell. :top:
He looks skinny in photos & vids though...maybe it's less of an issue once you see it in person.
All in all it's a great piece.
