    Impressions of the owner ...

    Set up PCS Darkness..
Damn was a pleasure apart from taking his hand to the top of my head... Damn it is sharp!
It is huge and a real centre piece.
Base is solid and really heavy.
Media is really nice. Love the cape, fur on his leg and beads on his shoulders.
Paint is really clean all over. Especially the hands and teeth.
Horns are solid with strong magnets.
Only issue is I think he is too skinny. I have to watch the movie to see if it is true to the movie.
Overall I am really impressed with it

That’s great , pretty sure that the skinny part was said by a few people when it was first shown .

The skinny thing does not bother me and I'm hoping it has more shading then the pictures show since these are phone pictures , I'm excited to get this , no notice yet but I'm liking it , BUT. The face needs help . The paintjob on eyes and something about the mouth could be too glossy lips I mean

Yeah,I wouldn't trust those photos too much with the heavy light hitting the statue.
Loving the mixed media and the fur on the legs.
The reason I passed on this was indeed the anorexic look which make everything out of proportion, the head & muscular arms doesn't match the skinny torso. This reminds me of Sideshow's Predator I maquette with the skinny body and huge head.
Can't believe how Jerry messed it up considering the fact he has been sculpting muscular bodies all his life. :baffled:

In any case at almost 1 meter tall this will be one impressive statue.

I still don't really like the effeminate pose and face, but overall it's still an impressive piece.

Such a shame they didn't include the acrylic teeth as we saw on the prototype...I can testify that the acrylic teeth on Akuma 1/3 are breathtakingly beautifull & realistic. These acrylic teeth scream high end all day long and sets the piece apart from all the rest.If I'm not misstaken they also skipped on the acrylic eyes they would initially incorporate...After 3 years people are getting a waterdown version of this most anticipated piece.

can't wait to get mine, and could be just the pictures but looks like i will be repainting mine, and if the head is hallow i will put in the acrylic teeth, this needs the acrylic teeth, and some cool shading like the proto, maybe a bit on the thin side but i love me some 1/3 scale hell yeah

Its an amazing thing you can make a good collectable look off the charts while us none skilled normal folk collectors just get stuck with the good collectable:cry:

True. They should have incorporated acrylic teeth & glass eyes.Period.
The best teeth I have ever seen on a scaled statue from any company are the teeth on their 1/3 Akuma. Why not Darkness?
Cost was probably to high for a collectible with such a small ES.There were 650 Akuma's in total (reg & Shin) while there are only 150 Darkness pieces.PCS should have asked $100 more and not cutting corners as they did now.

Unless Lord of Darkness is a horror character aswell. :hmm:
