In regards to their recently acquired JP/JW license...
- Iron Studios CEO, Renan Pizzi, talked directly to JurassicPark4.4, which is a fan made website, and revealed they acquired the world wide license for Jurassic Park.
- Iron Studios has been working closely with Universal Studios for a couple of months now.
- There will be some prototypes revealed at Comic Con Experience and some surprises related to the Jurassic Park franchise.
- There will be products from the first to the fifth movie.
- Their products will be a different scale of Chronicle.
Apparently Comic Con Experience in Brazil is from 7-->10 December.
Wow this will be interesting.
Malcom 1/10...if it comes with a 1/10 T-rex I'm not complaining...
Seriously,"get the kids" phrase may suggest he's waving the flare at the T-rex.
IS confirmed they are doing a T-rex statue...no specific confirmation of the scale yet but we may get a diorama with Malcolm & Dr Grant! (and both jeeps! )
Has Chronicle said anything yet?
Nothing...apparently Paul wasn't aware they had the license. It seems he isn't aware of much outside his own company, lol
Same thing happened with the Kong license...one fine day he discovered Prime 1 had a Kong license and he dropped his own plans to produce Kong statues.
Maybe he will drop the JP Licence lol.
I don't quite understand it cause Paul confirmed they have the exclusive rights for anything JP/JW above $200.
Could it be we are talking about very small dinosaurs from Iron Studios? We will know soon I guess.
Wow cant wait to see how this pans out.
There you go Otto...
"Well the licensors at Universal have turned over four times in two years with the consolidation with Dreamworks.
As far as we know we are the exclusive over $150, Mattel is the exclusive under $150 and we have a call out for misc. scales for Think Geek.
We have our licensing agent looking into Iron Studios claims and I will be getting to the bottom of the issue. We didn't license South America, but they still couldn't produce anything that conflicts with my current lines.
We've decided that if we can't keep our exclusivity we will not be continuing with the license."
I really cant understand Chronicle , if you think you products are so good why should you worry about the competition.
