Yes! Was hoping to see a Faun maquette

Looks like it's the younger version from the end of the movie. Would've preferred the old Faun as we first see him, but nevertheless this may be my first ECC piece :)

Looking forward to seeing it completed.

WOW.Amazing new pieces again from ECC.
The Shape of Water monster in its container is stunning. And once the Faun is finished our jaws will drop even lower, lol.
More than probably I will be forced to pass on all of these magnificent pieces and be happy with my less expensive variants from other companies.
But man,the thought of all these 1/3 ECC maquettes lined up will be a sight to behold....

Thanks for the WIP shots Otto.
I have my GG 1/4 Faun displayed next to my computer and I can honestly say Gentle Giant did a great job with their version.(except for the eyes which I repainted)
However, this 1/3 from ECC will be on another level with real hair, glass eyes and a more detailed face.
I remember that the GG Faun was very expensive when it came out.
But 400 EUR feels like a bargain these days, lol.
ECC's Faun will be close to 3000 EUR.

Dieter,I can't remember in the movie when the Faun had normal eyes or these 'pearly' white eyes...so my question is: will the ECC Faun have normal eyes or pearly white ones?

When we first see the Faun in the movie he just awoke from a long sleep. He looks old and his eyes are pearly white. As the movie progresses, he rejuvinates and his eyes gradually start to look like 'normal' goat eyes.

The smoothness of the face leads me to believe the ECC maquette will be the young Faun. Also, the pose is an almost exact copy of the end scene of the movie.

I'm still hoping for an old Faun, though. Full reveal at Comic-Con in July...
